The University of Montana Western hosted its 16th annual research symposium April 14.
The event was held on the campus of the University of Mary Washington and featured presentations that highlighted student research, internships, field experiences, and projects, according to a university press release.
Dr. Kyle Richardson, an instructor in the Biology Department at Montana Western, was the event’s keynote speaker. Richardson delivered a presentation entitled "Wild Population to Disease: Do We Control for Infection or Population?"
The symposium offers the university an opportunity to celebrate the diverse spectrum of research and academic achievements of the university's students, as well as the one-of-a-kind Experience One program the university offers, the release stated.
