City of Great Falls issued the following announcement.

The City has a contract with The HDD Company to install water main crossings under the Missouri River and Sun River and construction will restart on April 7, 2020.
The HDD Company, as part of the water main crossing under the Sun River, has hired United Materials of Great Falls to install a new 20-inch water main in Alder Drive, the street connector from Fox Farm Road to Alder Drive, and in the parking lot between Dairy Queen and the Fox Farm Diner.
Alder Drive from Fox Farm Road to Meadowlark Drive and the street connector from Fox Farm Road to Alder Drive will be closed to through traffic. Dairy Queen can be accessed from the driveway off of Fox Farm Road and the contractor will work with Fox Farm Diner and residents in the area for additional access. A temporary lane closure on Fox Farm Road will result in single lane traffic for approximately two days beginning Thursday April 9th through Friday, April 10th.
Work will begin April 7th and is anticipated to last for 45 days. Your patience during construction is appreciated.
