CITY OF GREAT FALLS: Reopening the City of Great Falls – A Phased Approach

Reopen

City of Great Falls issued the following announcement.

To comply with the Governor’s Phased Reopening of Montana directive, the City of Great Falls is mitigating the risk of a COVID-19 resurgence through social distancing, sanitation measures, and telework. The City’s operational goal during Phase One is to prevent COVID-19 exposure to residents and city staff. Walk-in traffic remains limited. Residents are encouraged to call or use online services. If in-person interaction is required, please call and make an appointment.

The City Commission meetings will continue to be offered in a modified format. Advisory boards and Neighborhood Councils will remain suspended unless they have agenda items that legally require them to meet before the City can take action. The Executive Orders pertaining to parking, residing in recreational vehicles, and multi-animal / hobby breeder permit inspections will remain in effect until the City’s State of Emergency is lifted.

“We will continue to monitor the local COVID-19 infection rates and make operational changes accordingly,” stated City Manager Greg Doyon.  “With guidance from the Governor’s Office and the City-County Health Department, we will gradually transition back to “normal” operations as it is safe to do so.”
