City of Columbia Falls issued the following announcement.
Please see the attached Resort Tax Proposal Information & Frequently Asked Questions sheet. The Resort Tax Proposal is on the June 2, 2020 primary election ballot. If passed on June 2nd, the City Council will not collect the tax until October 1, 2021 as noted in the attached information sheet. If you are a city resident and you did not receive a primary ballot that included the resort tax issue on the back, please contact the Flathead County Election Department at 758-5535 immediately. Please contact City Manager Susan Nicosia if you have any questions regarding the Resort Tax Proposal.
