Census Bureau: More men than women in Montana in 2019

Of the 1,050,649 people living in Montana in 2019, 49.7 percent (522,076) were women and 50.3 percent (528,573) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Big Sky Times.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 8,198. In the 65 and over age range, there were 99,533 females and 91,178 males.
