Whether it’s our prosecutors or law enforcement officers, the Montana Department of Justice works in coordination with other agencies, including tribal law enforcement, on a daily basis to fight crime in Montana. In this instance, prosecutors in Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen’s Office worked with Flathead Tribal Police to win a deliberate homicide conviction in Sanders County.
