After a dry and warm week, including enhanced fire danger today, the weather pattern will finally change this weekend. Expect much colder temperatures and widespread precipitation (including accumulating mountain snow) this weekend into Monday. A mix with wet snow at lower elevations is possible by Sunday, but there remains a lot of uncertainty with details. Hunters and recreationists should be prepared for cold, wet and breezy weather, and muddy off-road travel. Stay tuned to the forecast through the week for additional details. Below normal temperatures are expected to continue through the middle of next week.
