One man was killed and another man was taken into custody on February 13th as a result of a gunshot that occurred early on Sunday morning (February 12) outside of America's Wild West nightclub on Southgate Drive.
The information that a man had been shot in the parking lot of the nightclub was reportedly forwarded to the Billings Police Department at 1:42 in the morning.
The individual who was shot was taken to the hospital while the people who were suspected of being involved in the shooting were detained at the site.
Sunday about noon, the police released an update, saying that the probe turned into a homicide investigation, which indicated that the man had died as a result of the gunshot. His name was not made public at this time.
