Census Bureau: 78.4% of people in Montana were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 1,077,978 citizens living in Montana in 2021, 78.4% were old enough to vote, equating to 845,163 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 425,570 were male, constituting 50.4%, and 419,593 were female, making up 49.6%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Montana during 2021 was higher than the national average, which stands at 77.5%.
