Montana centenarians to be honored at annual Governor's Conference on Aging

The Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) will honor Montana centenarians during the 55th annual Governor’s Conference on Aging on October 1, 2024. The conference will be held at the Billings Hotel and Convention Center, with a luncheon scheduled from noon to 1:30 p.m.

DPHHS is requesting that Montanans who will turn age 100 by December 31, 2024, or those already over the age of 100, submit their name and a brief profile. All centenarians who provide information will receive a recognition certificate from Governor Greg Gianforte.

Centenarians, or their friends or family members, are encouraged to fill out a form by September 15, 2024. The first five questions on the form are required to receive a certificate. Information can be sent to:

The annual Governor’s Conference on Aging was established in 1968 to provide information and education to older citizens, their families, and caregivers. Attendees include the elderly, persons with disabilities, caregivers, and service providers. Various vendors will also be present to share information relevant to aging and disability issues.
