The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has endorsed Troy Downing for election to the United States House of Representatives. Downing is running to represent Montana's 2nd Congressional District.

"Troy Downing understands how small businesses are directly impacted by the policies Congress enacts," said Ronda Wiggers, NFIB Montana State Director. "Drawing from his wide breadth of business experience coupled with his public service roles throughout Montana, we are confident that Troy will work to strengthen the small business economy. We look forward to working with Troy Downing in Congress and we are pleased to endorse him today."

Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director, also expressed support for Downing. "Troy Downing will be a strong small business advocate in Congress," she stated. "Through his extensive business experience, Troy understands the issues most important to job creators. We know Troy will be a pro-small business vote in Congress, and we are pleased to endorse him today."

The endorsement comes from NFIB FedPAC, the organization's political action committee. This committee is funded by voluntary contributions from NFIB members beyond their membership dues. Decisions made by NFIB FedPAC are managed through a member-driven grassroots evaluation process.
