City of Polson issued the following announcement.
NOTICE OF CITY OF POLSON COMMISSION WARD 2 VACANCY
A vacancy has occurred on the Polson City Commission, Ward 2, and the current Commission will appoint an individual to fill the vacancy. The term for which the appointment will be made is from October 5, 2020 to December 31, 2021. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, a citizen of Montana and a qualified elector pursuant to Article IV, Section 2 of the Montana Constitution and who has resided within the city limits of the City of Polson for more than one year is eligible and reside in Ward 2. Persons interested in being appointed to fill the vacant term should submit an application by Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. The applications may be obtained at City Hall or the City website at www.cityofpolson.com.
