The Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) announced today that, effective Tuesday, September 17, two Helena state offices that provide child support and process client payments for various programs will be at their new office location of 2550 Prospect Avenue, the former Montana Highway Patrol building.

The previous office location at 2401 Colonial Drive housed the Child Support Services Division (CSSD) and the Business and Financial Services Division (BFSD).

The Helena CSSD office serves clients daily by processing payments, accepting documentation, and fielding general questions from the public. BFSD accepts required payments from clients who are part of the Medicaid Medically Needy and Workers with Disabilities programs. The office also processes payments for other programs such as annual renewals for food and consumer business licenses.

The Helena Office of Public Assistance located at 111 North Sanders, where clients can apply for Medicaid and other public assistance programs, is not impacted by this transition.

Signage has been posted at the Prospect Avenue building and the previous Colonial Drive location to help alert clients of the address change.

To contact child support, clients are encouraged to call 1-800-346-5437. For calls related to the BFSD, clients are encouraged to call 406-444-3130.

DPHHS officials say the office move will only impact clients living in the Helena area.
