In 2023, the Economic Development Administration (EDA) issued 10 grants totaling $1,777,800 to fund economic development projects in Montana.

This represents a 94.5% decrease from 2022, when the state received $32,297,503 in funding.

Montana ranked 41st across the U.S. in total EDA grant funding for 2023. South Carolina topped the list with $30,038,466 in funding across 14 grants.
