Montana State University Billings and the Office of the Commissioner of Higher Education are partnering with the MUS Suicide Prevention & Mental Health Task Force to host an MUS Mental Health and Wellness Summit in Billings on September 20-22 on the MSU Billings campus.

The summit is titled Enriching Community Mental Health & Wellbeing and will predominantly focus on college student mental health. The three-day summit will cover a wide array of topics, including creating more expansive cultures of care, creating positive mental health strategies, designing institutions for well-being, suicide prevention, indigenous and veteran student mental health, expanding mental health care services in Montana, and behavioral health workforce development. The summit will also highlight innovative approaches to mental health and well-being and how campuses can develop an effective continuum of mental health supports.
