Applying Informatics
Applying informatics builds on the foundations of health informatics. The course dives into clinical information systems, project management tools for systems, human technology design and interaction, health information technology (HIT) useability, safety issues, and more.
Leading Informatics
Leading informatics focuses on the training and application of HIT-related software within healthcare settings. Students will learn the adoption of HIT, its implementation, methodology, management, and principles. Students also learn the impact factors leading to HOT adoption success or failure, design, implementation, and evaluation of training strategies.
Revealing Informatics
Revealing informatics prepares students to present healthcare information and data using various data visualization tools, tables, and charts to advocate for and display data to promote decision-making within health systems. The course focuses on data integrity, data standards, data analysis tools, data security, clinical and business decision support, and more.
After completing these courses, students will graduate from the programs with a certificate in Applied Health Informatics, which can be used across various healthcare careers.
