Monday, February 27th, 2023, marks the launch of the University of Providence’s first edition of Providence Forum, a university magazine.
Providence Forum will highlight stories and accomplishments from the university community, including staff, faculty, students, and alumni. Starting a university magazine has been a goal of the President and creates additional opportunities to connect with alumni and friends across the country, including the Great Falls community.
“As the University of Providence continues its journey into an exciting future, it is important that all of our alumni and friends accompany us. Providence Forum is just one way we intent to keep telling our wonderful UP stories,” said Fr. Oliver Doyle, UP President. The University of Providence has over 90 years of collected success stories, sharing these will help promote the university’s growth and development.
The first edition of Providence Forum will include the meaning behind the university’s special 90th logo, notable alumni, staff and faculty spotlights; athletic accomplishments; the continuing expansion of the nursing program; and more.
The Office of Alumni and Advancement is sponsoring the important work of the development and creation of the publication. Kylie Carranza, Interim VP of Advancement, a 2014 and 2019 graduate of the then University of Great Falls says, “As an alumna, I can confidently say that all alumni of CGF, UGF and UP can be proud of their Alma Mater.” Kylie encourages alumni and community members to share their stories with the Office of Alumni and Advancement develop the future publications of the Providence Forum.
Providence Forum copies will be available both in print and electronic. If you would like one, please contact Nano McCluskey, Director of Advancement Operations in the Office of Alumni and Advancement at 406-791-5310.
UP will be celebrating the launch of Providence Forum Monday, Feb. 27th at 3:30pm in the University Center conference room. While this event is not open to the public, media are welcome to cover the event.
